In July, the ministry put out a call for volunteers with a strong design background to join the endeavour by NITDA, the official Government body that promotes and regulates the deployment of ICT in Nigeria, to co-create a design system and visual templates for all MDAs. “This platform will provide guidance and code to help MDAs design and build accessible, government websites,” the open call announcement noted.
The proposed visual style will offer a unique and user-friendly design for our websites that allows for consistency across multiple government touch points, the Minister noted. “This design consistency is a critical part of our journey towards a harmonised government web platform,” he added.
