From November 5th to 11th, the 12th edition of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), Africa's number 1 destination celebrating film & visual storytelling in Nigeria, held in Lagos. Over the course of the festival week, several film industry stakeholders, players and enthusiasts gathered to have important conversations about the film industry, and also celebrate and showcase various African films and talents.
To kick off the week, the opening movie, Orah, was screened. This was followed by other activities planned which included panel sessions and movie screenings throughout the week of the festival. To close the week, the organisers gathered filmmakers at The Afriff Globe Awards night to announce and celebrate the winners in the various award categories.
