The International Prize for Contemporary African Photography (CAP) announces open call for entries for the CAP Prize 2024
Awarded to five photographers annually since 2012, the CAP Prize recognises photographers whose works were created on the African continent, or which engage with the African diaspora.
CAP Prize, the International Prize for Contemporary African Photography has opened applications for CAP Prize 2024.
Awarded to five photographers annually since 2012, the CAP Prize recognises photographers whose works were created on the African continent, or which engage with the African diaspora.
The announcement stated, “Prepare your work that engages with the African continent or its diaspora now and win a series of large-scale outdoor exhibitions around the globe.”
To select the winners, a panel of international curators, publishers, editors, and artists will review the submissions. 25 artists will be shortlisted, and five shortlisted artists will be awarded the CAP Prize 2024.
Per the announcement, the CAP Prize is free to enter and the winners will be announced in July 2024.
You are expected to submit a coherent series of work. Single images are NOT permitted.
