Accra Art Week, a platform dedicated to showcasing the best of Accra’s art scene has announced that Accra Art Week 2023, a celebration of art in Accra, will happen this December.
According to AAW, the Accra Art Week 2023 will bring together talented artists, art enthusiasts, and creative minds from Accra and beyond. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a world of stunning paintings, captivating sculptures, thought-provoking installations, and a unique opportunity to appreciate and support local and international artists.
The week-long art event is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, December 20 to Sunday, December 24, 2023, in Accra, Ghana. It will feature talks, workshops, art auctions, film screenings, tours, and a lot more.
AAW says its primary mission is to galvanize support for the creative sector locally and to reinforce Accra’s position as a leading arts destination in Africa and the world at large.
