Njabala Foundation, a Ugandan-based Not-for-Profit organisation facilitating visibility for women artists, has announced its annual call for Ugandan women artists for 2024 - 2025 programming.
Njabala, a multi-faceted campaign facilitating conversations on womanhood, campaigns against gender inequality in the art world by organizing art exhibitions and events exclusively dedicated to highlighting the work of women artists. “Our responsibility is to curate periodic exhibitions as well as organize a public program of activities aimed at creating safe spaces for female artists to thrive and blossom,” it says.
