Nigerian artist Lola Mewu announces new venue for her painting marathon as she plans to set a new record
the Painting Marathon will commence today (Saturday, 28th of October, 2023) as scheduled but will be at a new venue—Safe House, 14 Adeola Hopewell Street, Eti Osa, Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a new update, Nigerian artist Lola Mewu currently on a mission to break the current record for the longest painting marathon has announced a change of venue for the event.
According to the announcement, the Painting Marathon will commence today (Saturday, 28th of October, 2023) as scheduled but will be at a new venue—Safe House, 14 Adeola Hopewell Street, Eti Osa, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It also stated that the event will not be open to the public for attendance until tomorrow (Sunday, 29th of October, 2023).
The announcement read;
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT !!! we humbly announce that the Painting Marathon starts tomorrow Saturday 28th, but would only be open to public attendance from Sunday, 29th, October.
Due to A change of venue, This measure lets us operate better in line with the goals of the project.
Per the new update, Lola will be gunning to set a new record of 72 hours after breaking the current record of 60 hours record by Roland Palmaerts.
