Kuta Arts Foundation reveals the finalists of its 2024 Kuta Arts Residency program

Kuta Arts Foundation, a pro-youth arts organization that facilitates programs centered on Art Education, Creative Expression, and Community Development, has announced the finalists of its 2024 Arts Residency program.
Following a ‘meticulous review’ of the applications it received for the open call of its 2024 Arts Residency program it put out in October 2023, Kuta has revealed the 10 artists who have been selected by its panel.
Announcing the finalists on social media, Kuta wrote, “Exciting Update: Our 2024 Artist Residency journey began with an overwhelming response to our open call — a heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their incredible portfolio with us. Each application was intentionally crafted and breathtaking, making the selection process difficult.”
“After meticulous review, our panel is proud to reveal exceptional talents who will be a part of our fully-funded residency this year.”

The 2024 Kuta Arts Residency Program finalist
The 10 selected artists who will be participating in the 2024 Kuta Arts Residency program are Oluseyi Akinwumi, Ololade Lawal, Faith Omole, Onesa Oruoghor, Jadesola Olaniyan, Priscilla Akinremi, Obiwuru Esther, Rebecca Akindunjoye, Chinecherem Peace, and Itunu Omotoso.
According to the announcement, the finalists are from different parts of Nigeria — Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun and Anambra.
The announcement noted, “Over the next three months, these artists will be housed, undergo workshop and offered all the tools necessary to help them create. The residency commences on the 13th of February, 2024.”
